no fireworks display was on show for Bonfire Night tonight because the bright sparks who organise our local one decided in their great wisdom that for some annoying reason they'd have it on October 28th instead. it's one thing everywhere no longer actually having a bonfire on bonfire night anymore, but having the fireworks on a totally random night too?

Grrr.

worked till about half three today so nipped into our local wine shop for this beauty, an Islay single malt I've had my beady eye on ever since mr wineshopman gave me a taste a couple of months back. it's heavenly, just like the label says.
