Day 409

Milford Sound

Day trip to the Milford Sound. NZ most photographed area. Also it's wettest area. It is the weatest place, at sea level, in the world. They don't measure rainfall in mm in Milford, they measure it in meters, since they get 7m per year!

The Milford sound is just incredible, it's actually like standing in a National Geographic magazine. These huge cliffs fall straight into the water, and the water literally just falls off them! When it rains there are apparently in excess of 2,000 waterfalls, but funally enough nobody's ever bothered to actually count them!

My last day with the Kiwi Exp. crew, so so sorry to have to say goodbye to all these wonderful people I've got to know over the last couple of weeks. Going to miss them all hugely! xx
