Duck eggs

I've been enjoying The Great British Food Revival series on BBC TV. James Martin's plea for more people to eat duck eggs inspired me to look for some when I went to the farm shop today - haven't had any for ages. There were only two half dozens left, so maybe lots of other local people had been watching the programme. When I got home I found one was cracked (I probably did that - my bag was rather full), so I'll be having poached duck egg for breakfast in the morning.
