an itching in my thumbs

By itchythumbs

i am lazy.

today, anyway. this is a lazy blip. i refuse to say "emergency" because i do not yet perceive this hour to be the hour in which one would need an "emergency" blip.

these are jelly belly jelly beans, perhaps my favorite thing of all time next to chocolate milk. red apple is my favorite flavor. i think a love for these things is also, perhaps, the only thing i had in common with the late ronald reagan.

if my day were an extended SAT analogy, it would be:

long work day: uneventful :: following lunch with someone i hadn't seen in a good ten years: bizarre

windy, windy, windy, and i didn't get enough sleep after our drinking yesterday so i opted to switch my saturday and sunday running schedule - did a quick 3 miles today, will tackle 7 tomorrow after that luxurious and completely falsified "extra hour" i will be getting tonight. yes, we are falling back, dear friends. in more ways than one lately, it seems.

to all you uk'ers out there: i suppose i shall wish you a happy guy fawkes day. i am sure in your country it is an actual bona-fide celebration, unlike here, where it is mostly a chance for sycophantic fans of the film v for vendetta to proclaim their coolness by loudly wishing others a "happy guy fawkes day!" in which we all mostly think, seriously? i'm pretty sure that'd be like wishing someone in london a happy thanksgiving, thanks.

that is all, that is all, move along, no more to see here.
