Settling on the normal

Newhaven Harbour never disappoints even when it swallows your Streak. Today one and the same boat, and its reflections, provided a scenic blip for me and a close up for him.

We enjoyed a pleasant wander around the paths of north Edinburgh, especially the newly surfaced link between the Ferry Road and the Warriston paths (the Chancelot path). Apparently the work generated some controversy. Speaking as a cyclist, I was really pleased because it provides a fast alternative to Victoria Park when coming from the north or west. As a pedestrian I also think it's an improvement because the previous version of the path was often very muddy, even if quieter than it is now.

The WoL also provided some blip possibilities; today's rejects can be seen here, here and here. Making a choice was tricky.

Settling in for a lazy Sunday afternoon with a mug of hot chocolate.
