Flowering November

There are still a few things flowering on our allotment. This Ivy-leaved Cyclamen is still looking fresh and free of fear of the coming winter. :-) Our Bieberstein's Croci are slowly starting to fade, as are the Cosmos. The temperature today was around +8°C and we had a little bit of sun, but mostly overcast.

We planted a few more bulbs (probably the last for this year), and put a tarpaulin over the garden furniture. We also did some weeding in one of the perennial borders, and put down sticks that will support net over borders that will need protection during early spring. The allotment is soon ready for the winter.

As Z took down the South African flag, a frightened Blackbird was almost flying into him. It was chased by a Sparrowhawk.

One Year Ago: Geranium and glimmer
