London to Brighton

Had a very long, tiring but brilliant day on the annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. This, the 115th Run, commemorates the 1896 Act of Parliament that allowed motor cars to be run on roads in England (provided they didn't exceed 12mph). Five hundred cars, all pre-1905, left Hyde Park between 07.02am and 08.30am for the 62 mile run to Brighton.

Took lots of photographs but I'm too tired to process them so just did this one for blip purposes. For the record this is a single cylinder 3.5 horsepower "De Dietrich" leaving Hyde Park.
