Bank stains

The fella on the left is Stuart Fraser. As the policy chairman of the Corporation of London, it was pretty sporting of him to agree to appear at tonight's Tent City University talk on the need to redemocratise the City.

Sporting because he seems prone to coming out with stuff like this in the Guardian, where he defends the fact that residents of the Square Mile (the Corporation of London is the local authority for the Square Mile) have their own votes outnumbered 4-1 by those given to businesses based there.

He was allowed to speak his part. Then George Monbiot, John Christensen of the Tax Justice Network and the savvier members of the audience politely tore him a new one.
