Uprooted

After digging out a couple of tenacious tree roots, I decided to enjoy the sunshine for a moment.

Lying in the crunchy carpet of dead leaves, I couldn't help noticing how many were still left on the tree, waiting for their time to fall.

Of course, then I had to go and fetch my camera ... which put an end to the moment of contemplation.

But hey - the blips don't take themselves, do they.
