Right place - Wrong time

I had this idea that my early morning picture would be a super atmospheric one as the fog gradually burned off and the sun started to come through. You know the kind of thing.

Well it didn't work out as the fog was determined to hang around a lot longer than I was. I took this picture and it was a bit of a job to salvage it. Not at all what I was hoping for. And of course the mist did burn off eventually and the sun appeared, but it was later on when I had no time to take a picture. Such is life.
