Bumper Crop of Apples

This year has been so good for apples! I thought I'd better capture the last of the crop in the garden on camera before the cold and the wind gets to them.
They are so sweet this year that, although they are cookers, they are going down a treat as eaters.
They have also done a star turn in my apple crumble, especially delicious when the topping is made with wholemeal flour and muscovado sugar, and has grated lemon rind and a pinch of cinnamon for added interest. Delicious!
