House Sparrow

This wee guy was super friendly - to the extent that he kept getting so close that I couldn't fit him in the frame. He kept demanding that I take his photo and wouldn't take no for an answer.

I guess it gave me the opportunity to get some good fine feather detail.
I find boy sparrows hard to capture decent photos of usually because they are so dark around the eye area that the eye doesn't stand out. The light obliged today and just the right tilt of the head gave me plenty of eye contact.
