Time travelling (a practical approach to housework

Whilst cleaning those annoying slivers of spinach that had accumulted around the plughole Grassy noticed an intriguing phenomenon. The water from the tap followed a spiral path, as would be expected, but, upon encountering the spinach, entered a turbulent phase and then, Grassy could swear, dissapeared.

Grassy checked the level of the opened vino guarro, but, finding no depreciation, investigated further. From a point diametrically opposite the well caused by the flow of water from the tap a new source had appeared. Could the water that had dissapeared upon encountering the spinach be reappearing at this new point, possibly after some passing of time? Grassy was no fool and knew that a discovery like this should not be shared, and her contribution belittled, but used, and for a higher purpose.

Grassy had returned, in the rain, from dropping her son at school. The night before she had partaken of the wonders of the grape, perhaps overindulged. The kitchen was therefore untidy, and Grassy, equally logically, unwilling to tidy. She had overcome her reluctance, however, and had begun cleaning with the collander that had been used for spinach last night. Now a much superior solution presented itself.

Using her unmatched genious in devizing impractical devices Grassy quickly assembled a wormhole stabilizer, held her breath, and took a leap...

And thus she travelled into the future...
