Thank goodness that's not me!

Since being made redundant in March 2009 I have not worked, out of choice. When I see the crawling traffic in the mornings, as I'm walking Jonty and Foxy, I just think thank goodness that's not me.

In reality it never was me as the last 9 years of my working life (with Nortel Networks) I worked at home travelling 3 or 4 times a month to attend meetings with various telecommunication companies (BT, Applinet, Connect, Affiniti etc.) and I'd leave early in the morning before this sort of traffic started.

I also travelled a lot abroad, Istanbul, Athens, Nicosia, all over the Middle East, Europe, CIS countries, Scandinavia, and North Africa, but that's another story.
