my 'baby girl'

Sienna was SO excited about her first ever school disco this afternoon.

Up early this morning, her bag packed with her favourite dress and some sparkly bracelets.

After school she skipped to the car when she got dressed (she didn't want to go home and get changed and have to 'rush' it back to school!)

Then reluctantly let me slow her down so I could capture the 'moment'.

However one hour later I picked her up and she said that she didn't really like discos - too noisy, too many children and she was too tired.

All that expectation dashed by reality - you can't 'protect' them from this forever can you?!!!
