10 November 1986 - The chart Number One was the theme to Top Gun. I was only a nipper of 24 and my mortgage was £149 a month and I wondered how I was ever going to be able to afford to pay it every month! I had a mustache and no glasses and weighed a lot less, but I'm still not sure what she saw in me.

Twenty five years, three kids and two grandchildren and I'm still an overgrown kid of 24 on the inside. Couldn't have made it without you, hon!
