Post-Formative

So, just done the first formative assessment of my third year of uni.
Hopefully it went well, but until I get feedback next week I won't know.

So, about this project. I started by looking at fish. Drawing, printing, applying colour. The colour grabbed me. There is something so exciting about a pile of colourful snippets :)
So, I continued by applying different colour mediums to 13 different materials, including tracing paper, newsprint, cotton, silk, organza and chiffon. I built up a large collection of samples and chose to display them on my adapted A2 sketchbook (see previous post).

I'm very pleased with this project and I'm looking forward to Final Major Project 1 :)
