A flying visit (boom boom) by an old friend, first time to Adelaide. He loves it here, birds are in abundance, loads of nature conservation parks and of course the weather. You can't talk to him without his eyes going over your head spotting a New Holland Honeyeater or a Red Wattlebird (I've learnt). He is the most obsessed birdwatcher I have ever met.
He is eying up South Australia for a new destination of his birding tours. He is a Rockjumper guide and currently leads a lot of Asian and Australasian tours. It would be good having him here more often.
