I Know What This Is, Do You?

After a really slow start to our day we headed out towards Malmesbury, we have been there before but only on a Sunday. Today we had a good wander around and I
spotted this disc on the building of the Smoking Dog which is a public house.

Initially I thought it was a plate to hold the building together but after doing some research discovered that it is a rather rare 24 inch diameter cast iron Cyclists' Touring Club Logo {Winged Wheel} which has been there for well over a century.
