horns of wilmington's cow

Line-Up

So I go for a wander along the sea wall from the Esk mouth with mate Darren, see four species I've never seen before, and I wind up with a shot of some black-headed gulls. Them's the breaks (mainly because the new species were all too far away, so the shots were hazy!).

Also bumped into the greater spotted DaveH and had a wee chat in the glorious sun.

Those new four:

Long-Tailed Duck (loved this, only saw one, but it's fab)
Twite (LBB - Little Brown Bird)
Slavonian Grebe
White-Fronted Goose

So a decent walk, rounded off with following a seal up the Esk. Not much else to say on the day - involved farmers market; chinese supermarket; sending off some eBay stuff; looking at some bathrooms; making muffins; cleaning the chicken runs out; fixing some rendering on the house... Just as well I'm feeling a bit better really.

Industrial Oystercatchers
Velvet Scoters (they look like Daffy Duck...)
