Andy's advice to sinners

I took this photo at the Warhol Is Here exhibition in the wonderful modernist De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill on Sea. Warhol took his tape recorder everywhere and called it his 'wife'. I was taking part in a project to act as 'human tape recorders', observing and then writing up the responses of visitors to the exhibition. It was a fantastic opportunity to be a gallery stalker and eavesdrop on conversations. My favourite visitors were a man with his dad and his young son. The guy was showing his kid the Campbell's Pea Soup painting. ' That's one of his most famous ones' he said. He then turned the corner and saw another soup can painting. 'Oh, it's the same one again'.
Grandfather immediately put him right. 'That's tomato soup. Completely different!'.
