a day of many lessons...

I learnt a few things today...

1. The macro on my compact isn't good with extreme closeups
2. The autofocus is irritating & focuses on the wrong thing
3. There is such a thing as eating too many sweeties
4. I'm a dumbass & didn't change the date/time settings on my camera after realising they were wrong a couple of days ago
5. Artificial light is no substitute for natural light
6. Ginger Ale is not a good substitute for ginger & sugar..

7. No matter what the recipe says, chorizo really does not work well with apple...

Its good to learn...
