Occupy Bath!

Up, and to the Green Park Brasserie to meet Cindy and talk Alchemical talk.

Stopped off in Queen's Square in the centre of Bath on the way home.

Spent an interesting 20 minutes talking to Richard about why we agreed on the aims of Occupy Bath (which are a well kept secret in order to keep capitalists guessing...). Unfortunately, I'm too old to spend a cold November night out in the open protesting, but anyone else who shares their aims strongly will be welcomed with open blankets.

Our financial system is broken though those who benefit most will not yet admit that, and I'm even almost persuaded of a post-Bretton Woods return to the Gold Standard as a solution preferable to our current miasma.

According to the hand-written bill, the band appearing is The Frome Street Band, though I think that's just the guy on the right, and the cowboy on the left, who appears to be playing a cooking oil tin, was jamming by invitation!
