Domestic chores and tinkering with faulty electrical things were the duties of the day. Couple of "blown" components shown here. There were more. The Internet saved the day by revealing the correct value of the well frazzled resistor above. So then it was on to locating and ordering replacement parts.

Will have to take some time off next week to return a camera. The shop had missed a couple of faults I've mentioned here before. The worst being that it has a slight shutter delay, that it shouldn't have. The previous owner may have dropped it, judging by some minor outside damage. I've already located something that will hopefully be better, but is a wee bit more expensive.

Looking forward to relieving the "cabin fever" tomorrow. May take the opportunity to try out some demo kayaks... not that I'm in the market for anything new. Haven't been on the water for quite a while, and it will be the first time I've used the car for about three weeks too. Have to put the car's battery on trickle charge at this time of year, especially if I don't use it for anything over a week.
