Coriolus

Coriolus sounds as if it ought to be fungus that grows inside the head of Coronation Street viewers, or else a character from Shakespeare ...

I hope I have correctly identified this fungus. It's growing prolifically from a seat beside the South Hams coastal path. The seat is fashioned crudely from a section of felled tree-trunk and is looking extra rustic since the fungi further naturalised it within its bed of nettles. (Never actually seen anyone seated there.)

Took pictures of lots of other fungi today, too, but this was the most colourful and impressive.
