The Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur

Jodhpur was one of our favourite stops in India, very friendly people, great sights, a bustling market and even the odd working heffalump.

This was taken at the Meharangarg Fort. Normally we don't go in for the cheesy audio tours but this one was great and really informative. After the fort, we enjoyed wandering the streets of the old quarter and met lots of new friends, including Mr Vyuss who was keen to show us the cows he looks after as a hobby and also his Royal Enfield. Then it was back to the roof terrace of Yogi's (our guesthouse) to enjoy the sunset with the backdrop of the fort and to tuck into a mushroom and cashew curry with a cold Kingfisher to wash it down, bliss.

We were sorry to leave Jodhpur, definitely a highlight from the India leg of the adventure...
