Bristol

Being the second Monday of the month, tonight there was a meeting of the Bristol & Avon Family History Society. With Bristol being about an hour's drive away, I don't attend every meeting, only going when there is something on the programme that particularly interests me. Tonight there was a presentation by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission which was very interesting indeed so I was glad I made the effort.

My younger daughter lives in Bristol so we met her here on Cotham Hill for something to eat before going on to the meeting. We made a similar arrangement last month which went completely wrong when she was detained at work and didn't make it to the restaurant in time to eat with us.
