Allotments

Today I got up, feeling rather delicate, and struggled through a 2 hour lecture on plant metabolism. Quick lunch, then off to the food bank to work with Louis, a very interesting fellow all round, and Freegan. The food bank takes all the food that is being thrown out of supermarkets and wholesalers for being on its sell by date, and gives it to charities and the like. Otherwise it goes to landfill. We live in a bizarre and spiteful world. As a convert, I shall be out raiding bins this weekends. Although I did want to blip a pretty picture of some dreary waste, instead I plumped for a dreary picture of some pretty production.

Bye Barbara
