Getting on my nerves

Have been in bed more or less all day with terrible nerve pain in my neck and shoulder. Not sure all this ibuprofen stuff is working but it's worth a try. Meant to be getting organised for going away on holiday next week so not the best time to be laid up.

Also, bad news yesterday. My Dad had to have his dog Misty put down as she had a stroke. Poor Dad is devastated. Misty was the most neurotic, worrying but funny and clever dog and they were the best of pals.
Misty could wave her paw at you on command and would always sit down when you said the word 'bum' at her. She adored my Dad and they were quite a double act. She'll be sadly missed but is probably sitting on her bum waving down at Dad from doggie heaven.
