the first closing campfire was tonight. i'm a little disappointed in my performance - i choked and forgot my lines at the end of the bead ceremony introduction. oh well, i suppose i'll have more opportunities to redeem myself as the weeks go on.

i'm mildly obsessed with peonies at this point....flowers are my feel good.
