Bombed

The church of St Benedict which gives its name to St Benedicts Street in Norwich was a victim of war. All that remains is the round tower, not as derelict as I make it seem. Ironically there are four other intact Medieval churches along the street, just minutes away, including St Lawrence.

There is lots of information and a 1942 photograph of St Benedicts here.
