Hooded Merganser

A blustery and rainy day but ducks don't mind! I was thrilled to see this one and was close enough to do it justice.

Predictions of possible snow in a couple days down here in the lowlands which is an unpleasant thought unless I'm off the roads ....don't like navigating around in my bus in the white stuff. When off work I do like to see snow once in awhile as it's so beautiful but I think right now it would be the wetter more bothersome kind!

Happy Hump Day...as it comes to an end and we are that much closer to the weekend!
