As I said yesterday, Mrs Talpa and I are on holiday in God's Own Land. And here, for any doubters, is the proof, writ large on the lintel above a door in the village of Hawes.

Hawes, by the way, is where they make God's Own Cheese - Real Yorkshire Wensleydale.
