Tenacity

A laudable human trait, probably, provided that

a) you are not on the receiving end of a tenacious pain in the neck

or b) you are not afflicted with a blind, unreasoned pleasure in being tenacious. So don't forget the poem "Casabianca" which is as clear an example of stupid tenacity as you might find!
