Watching Autumn

Today, I filled and put out some new feeders. The goldfinches loved the 2 extra ports and the tray, but still squabbled - I think they enjoy a good scrap! This plucky little coal tit was the first to try the ground feeder.
Blipping early tonight so I can get the tea then a grandstand seat in time for Autumnwatch later. (BBC1 /HD at 8:30 - watch it, so you'll see that I'm not making it up about Sheffield). There is going to be an item on urban wildlife in Sheffield, and my birding buddy Pete should be on it.

PS Sadly, Pete didn't get on, too much to fit in - but some great stuff from Sheffield!
