One of my company's clients is a startup making a mid-level consumer audio device. At the moment their office is full of boxes containing trays containing components for populating boards that go into the devices.

I always find it tricky thinking about big numbers, but when I see a tray of components that's only enough for e.g. 50 finished units, I think 'mmmm, that's enoght for one shop' then 'okay, times by 50 for the UK' then 'times by 8 for new distributors' and so on. Before you know it, you're heading for big numbers. Good luck to them!
