Epic La Medusa meal

Nice day at work today - went in later than usual, but didn't have to start for another 45mins, so I drove around Port Orchard and just took in the gorgeousness of the day - sunny skies, changing leaves, water views.

After work caught the ferry back to Seattle (but opted not to partake in an after work drink just yet - don't think I should make a habit of drinking alone on the ferry). Had a couple of spritzes at home before an amazing meal at La Medusa. We had to wait about 45mins for our table, so we got a drink and the kitchen sent over some appetizers while we were waiting and the wait time seemed to have disappeared. Then J ordered our meal and we just had one amazing dish after another. Sooo much amazing food. So much that I had started to shut it down (quiet, sleepy, didn't drink anything else) before I left, and I pretty much crashed once we got home.

C was a doll and paid for our meal - we're getting spoiled by our guests....maybe that's why we keep letting people stay with us :)
