Little Bunny Foo Foo

Wow. What an amazing day.

The Rube Goldberg kids met at the school at 6:30 and loaded up the bus with all of the stuff for our machine. Then we took a bus ride into the city to the Times Center. Svolos got out of the bus at a red light, bought some apples, and walked the rest of the way... When we got there we moved everything inside and met Kelly. She sent the e-mail to Cahill a few weeks ago asking us to make this. We got to work putting the machine together. The first step took the longest to get together. Once it was together, Jeff brought out a box filled with brightly-colored tape and paper. He went a little crazy and put tape everywhere...we had to take the tape away from him. After we got the whole thing together and taped up, it was time for lunch. I accidentally took a goat cheese and avocado sandwich...it was gross. Kenny and Svolos were being pushy and the result of that was Kenny introducing Chris Anderson tomorrow during the conference. We got a few good runs in and watched a few of the speakers rehearse for tomorrow. We met Rives, Kelly's co-host, and talked to them for a while before leaving. There was a ton of traffic on the bus ride home so it took almost two hours. When I got to the school, I got off of the bus, went to the bathroom in the school, and got on the bus for the Chamber/Vocal Jazz trip. We went to the Tilles Center to see the Manhattan Transfer and New York Voices. They were good but I was so tired so I fell asleep about halfway through.

What. A. Day.
