LCM52AA010

A picture of Jaap and Roelof (sitting on a steampipe), having plenty trouble at the LCM52AA010 at unit EC 6. This is the blockvalve in the warm-up pipe of the so-called "warm reheat" to the medium pressure steamturbine.
Opening the valves (block- and regulatingvalve) in this system allow the steampipes to warm up while the steamturbine is still not in service.
The valve was suspected to remain closed during this operation, so it took a long time to reach the criteria to take the steamturbine in service.
The problem is that they could not point to a real cause when they dismantled it.

And now the new parts they have fitted do not match properly...

I feel sorry for them, working in overtime....
