Evening Light Over Inchkeith

Well, late afternoon anyway.

I was at Pettycur Harbour looking out over the Forth estuary hoping for some good sunset colours. They were fair, but, because of low cloud in the west, they faded as the sun got lower instead of becoming more intense as I expected. An occupant of a car in the carpark threw some broken bread/rolls from the window, and as if by magic, the gulls appeared from nowhere.

As an added insult, 5 mins after I got home, the underside of the clouds was briefly illuminated in sunset pink. Too late :-(
