sam's newburgh seals

....were being charmed by a frenchman from the shore when we arrived. He was puppytalking to them in gallic tones and they were entranced. After he left i sang to them...one of them cocked its head and came closer, the rest dived under really fast...........Je Ne Regrette Rien....

On leaving, we saw two Irish wolfhounds of such beauty they evoked centuries past, huge, beautiful beasts, roaming the beach and dunes on their own in the falling light, no sign of an owner but alert and awaiting his return round a dune, i should have kidnapped them....
