At the end of the day....

How lovely to have a day with nothing that needed doing! well, of course there are loads of things that could have been done.....but i preferred to stay in my pj's till around 10am...having gotten up at 7.30am - pisses me off when i can't sleep in....anyway, it was lovely curled up in front of the woodstove, reading my book with a cup of coffee.....quite delightful!!!

spent some time dealing with the remainder of the lovely, by now imfamous, tomatoes....already got a couple of bags of lovely sauce to put in the freezer, and there is another pot full bubbling away as i type! So, that's the end of them! i'm pretty pleased with the final outcome....we managed to gets loads of them ripe on the front porch! Already thinking about which ones i want to do again next year!!!

Then around 3.30 - before it got too dark...Terry and i headed out for a walk. quiet and very overcast, and then it rained! but still, it was good to get out for about an hour.

Think i'll take tomorrow off too...and get into some painting!
