Miss Annie Does Not Approve

It was another bright chilly morning when I ventured out with Miss Annie -- not very early. She has definite ideas about the proper conduct for her walks. When she detects an interesting smell I am supposed to stop for as long she deems necessary for a thorough investigation. Stopping for photography is not an approved activity and is discouraged by firm pulls on the leash or wrapping the leash around my legs. It's a real challenge to get a blip, especially a close-up photo like this one.

I promised I wouldn't spend so much time taking photos on the next walk.
