Flowers are red, and leaves are green

This leaf put me in mind of the Harry Chapin song 'Flowers are Red ' the story of a child being 'educated' and losing his vision and artistry.

"Flowers are red young man
Green leaves are green
There's no need to see flowers any other way
Than they way they always have been seen"

It seems to go like that sometimes. At school you're given the 'right' answers, then 'magically' when you go to university you're expected to be inquisitive. I've seen some school essays ruined when the original thought got edited out.

At school you answer the questions, at university you question the answers.

So much from one leaf!
