Maple Wings

It has been a grey dull day today, and has been raining in the afternoon with wind.
I was in my garden trying to find an image for the day, and consequently got quite wet.
Especially when I was trying to get these maple wings which were moving in the breeze.
Anyone would think that red and green are my favourite colours as this image is almost identical in colours to yesterdays Blood Grass.
Lat night at Pixels - our Digital Camera Club - Pooba and I were most surprised to take out the top Medal together. 1st Equal - Pixel of the Year 2011.
It was a grand way to finish the year in the Club. The organisers made it a fun evening with eats to finish with.
