The great Swedish jazz musician Esbjörn Svensson was killed this saturday in a diving accident! His band E.S.T. (Esbjörn Svensson Trio) is one of my absolute favourites within jazz music and their records have renewed Swedish jazz music with its innovative sound, being very influential also internationally.

It is tragic when a slightly more than 40 years old artist pass away, who should have many years of fantastic music ahead of him yet to be created!
