I'm a Big Boy Now

One of this year's cygnets at Birnie Loch (Fife). The birds in the background are part of a flock of around 60 goosanders.

The weather today was overcast, spitting with rain and blowing quite hard. Added to that, the birds were doing their hardest to keep a large distance between them and me, always ensuring that whatever view I got would be a back view. Apart from the goosandes, there were wigeon and goldeneyes. In the end, I have had to make do with this mute swan cygnet as my blip for today. :-(
