Joseph

Our youngest grandson, Lennon, came home a couple of weeks ago and told us that he was going to be 'Mary' in the nativity play. Next day we had a letter telling us about the nativity play and that Lennon had landed a leading part and would play Joseph.
We asked him about playing Mary and he said 'Ah, I forgot Joseph's name'. At least he didn't say 'Jofish' like most 4 year olds.

Marlane made his smock this evening and he is wearing his fathers old Tageer (little white hat) and Igal (the black 'ropes' that hold the Gutra on) from when he was a young lad in Saudi. The Gutra is actually a herring-bone pashmina because my Saudi Gutra would be too large for him.
She's quite a seamstress, took her less than an hour to knock it up and it's beautifully finished off, hemmed etc.

Really looking forward to the nativity play now !
