A few good men

I went for a stroll today up to the Royal Mile and stumbled into the tail end of the memorial service for the British soldiers who have died in Afghanistan.

I missed the main event and Officer Harry (I wondered at the time about the massive police presence), but I caught these guys in Parliament Square after being interviewed for the news.

Whatever you think about the conflicts in these far away places, it is good to spare a thought for the difficult job that our armed forces do.
