Hurricane force 12 veering westerly and decreasing severe gale force 9 soon

Storm. 49ft waves. Hurricane force winds. A young woman died tonight, her car went off the road and into a loch, no one is sure yet if the gales had anything to do with it. It's supposed to get worse on Saturday. To be honest though, I love storms. The fire is warm, I have a nice book, hot chocolate and some candles in case for when the power cuts out.
